How do I book a bike locker?

Bike lockers can be booked in advance at a cost of £5 per 10 week period. For security reasons hirers must provide their own padlock. Bike locker hire is subject to availability, please contact Transporting Somerset for full details - transport@somerset.gov.uk

When can I book?

Tickets can be bought on the day of travel direct from the driver of the Taunton or Musgrove Flyer. Or they can be bought in advance - we offer a range of tickets, including an annual season ticket. Full details can be found on the Fares and Group Discounts pages.

Adult - Anyone of 16 years old or over

What are your prices?

Taunton Flyer offers great value for money. The standard adult fare is just £1.60 and includes free parking. The full range of fares - including flexible passes and annual season tickets - can be viewed by selecting the Fares link.

Does Taunton or Musgrove Flyer offer insurance?

Insurance is purchased by the company in accordance with our legal responsibility. All legal liabilities to third parties, to include damage to property and personal injury are covered. There is no insurance cover provided for loss, damage or injury where the bus company has not been negligent. Personal travel insurance would provide passengers with such cover.

What facilities do the buses offer?

Each Taunton Flyer bus has:
- 37 seats - plenty of space for shopping and buggies
- Dedicated space for a wheelchair
- Low Floor entrance

What is your luggage policy?

Luggage is carried at the passenger's own risk. Luggage will only be carried if the passenger/owner is present on the journey. Our drivers reserve the right to refuse to carry any item considered to be too large, heavy, bulky, fragile, oddly shaped or is deemed suspicious, dangerous or liable to cause injury, in accordance with PCV Regulations. Please note that we will only carry passengers' personal luggage, not commercial goods. If you are unsure that the item you wish to carry complies with the terms outlined above, please contact us for clarification.

Do your buses take wheelchairs?

Every one of our low-floor buses can carry a wheelchair. Though we must stress that we can only carry one open wheelchair per bus.

Can I take my dog?

Dogs are allowed to be carried, but at the owner's own risk. They are carried on condition that they are clean, on a leash, under proper control and do not cause inconvenience or annoyance to other passengers. They MUST NOT be placed on passenger seats. The owner will be responsible for any injury caused to another passenger through failure to comply with these conditions.

No, the car park is closed at night, when the service is not running.
